**About the role**

We are seeking a skilled Trusts & Foundations Lead to join our Philanthropy Unit, empowering teams to test, trial, grow through innovation, and learning while bringing their authentic selves to work. The successful candidate will drive team strategy through best practice grant writing and prospecting, ensuring targets are achieved.

**Key responsibilities**

- Develop a strategic growth plan for Trust and Foundations
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to craft high-value proposals and facilitate pitching
- Conduct market research and scope out potential grant leads to raise the organisation's profile and establish a strong pipeline
- Build meaningful relationships with funders to ensure they feel valued, engaged, and connected to the partnership
- Manage the Trust and Foundations specialist to develop a strong acquittal and impact report process
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with the legal team
- Oversee budget management of the Trust and Foundations portfolio

**Required skills and qualifications**

- Proven track record in successful trust and foundations grant submission or transferable skills of strong research and grant writing
- Ability to manage and develop a grants calendar
- Exceptional written skills and the ability to develop business proposals from concept stage to conversion and acquittal
- Strong relationship, influencing, networking, and communication skills with proven ability to develop productive, results-focused relationships with stakeholders
- Proven ability to engage high-value executive and board members and donor/client-style relationships strategically and planned manner
- Sound project and budget management skills
- Team player with positive can-do attitude, maturity, and confidentiality
