Maintenance Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Specialist to oversee the coordination and execution of maintenance activities, ensuring contractor performance meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

  • This role involves coordinating both planned and corrective maintenance, conducting site inspections and audits, monitoring contractor performance, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance projects with contractors, managing multiple works valued at up to $1M.
  • Manage maintenance contract performance to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Act as the primary contact for maintenance contractors, fostering strong long-term relationships to ensure collaborative project outcomes.
  • Utilize asset management systems to track work orders and analyze data for continuous improvement.
About You:
  • A relevant technical/trade qualification or degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A valid Australian driver's license.
  • Experience in infrastructure maintenance, including civil infrastructure, roads, drainage, pavements, and rail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
