Data Center Maintenance Specialist

The Data Center Maintenance Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of critical infrastructure, supervising specialist vendors, and serving as a first responder to incidents.
Key Responsibilities:- Review management of routine and corrective maintenance on critical systems including switch gear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, and building monitoring systems.
- Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.
- Collaborate with teams to design, implement, commission, and build out new facilities.
- Develop and implement projects to enhance current facility capacity, efficiency, sustainability, and reliability.
- Manage facility assets and provide infrastructure and inventory asset management.
- Oversee on-site management of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors, ensuring adherence to established practices, procedures, and local legislation.
- Relevant degree or technical certification in Mechanical/HVAC/Electrical engineering or equivalent experience at technician level in a critical environment.
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience on mechanical or electrical equipment.
- Experience operating electrical or mechanical systems in a mission-critical environment such as data centers, telecommunications, etc.
