As a Civil Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of manual tasks and operating heavy machinery in a fast-paced outdoor environment. You will work closely with our team to maintain the infrastructure that keeps our community moving.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing maintenance and construction tasks across road reserves, including drainage, concreting, signage, and street sweeping.
  • Safely operating plant machinery such as skid steers, excavators, tip trucks, and street sweepers.
  • Carrying out manual tasks like lifting, raking, and digging.
  • Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of equipment.
  • Assessing work sites for hazards and applying appropriate risk controls.

We are looking for someone who is physically fit, has excellent communication skills, and can work well in a team environment. If you have a Construction Induction Card and experience in operating heavy mechanical plant and vehicles over 8 tonnes (MR licence or higher), we want to hear from you
