Job Title: Facilities And Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Facilities and Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

The successful candidate will lead a team of maintenance professionals, developing and implementing proactive maintenance strategies to minimize operational disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining site infrastructure, equipment, and utilities to ensure minimal operational disruption.
  • Leading safety and compliance initiatives, including programs, audits, training, and incident management to foster a strong safety culture.
  • Managing resources and contractors, including inventory, site maintenance, utilities, and service providers' performance.
  • Overseeing asset lifecycle management, from documentation and inspections to preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Building and leading a capable, engaged, and high-performing team, while also being hands-on with maintenance tasks when required.
  • Reporting on safety and maintenance performance, providing insights and trends to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintenance and facilities management within a complex operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation, safety systems, and risk management practices.
  • Effective leadership skills with a focus on team engagement and development, clear communication, strong reporting, and stakeholder management abilities.
