Road Maintenance Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a skilled road maintenance specialist. As an integral part of the road maintenance crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the longevity and safety of our roads.
About the Job:The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the road maintenance team in preparing and applying micro-surfacing treatments to improve and extend the life of road surfaces. This involves:
- Cleaning the roadway by sweeping off debris, dirt, and loose material.
- Operating and monitoring micro-surfacing machines and trucks.
- Mixing components and ensuring the mix is properly spread and leveled onto the road surface.
- FOLLOWING SAFETY PROTOCOLS AND PROCEDURES.
- A valid Heavy Vehicle Driver's Licence and relevant experience.
- A Construction Industry White Card.
- Prior civil laboring or asphalt experience is highly desirable.
- The ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen.
