NM Insurance is a market leading distributor of insurance products and services, in the retail recreational areas of pleasure craft, motorcycle and caravan as well as commercial marine insurance lines. Our business operates through offices across Australia and New Zealand.  Most of our Insurance Products are distributed via intermediary partners, primarily through licensed Insurance Brokers, as well as franchised dealers of pleasure craft and direct to consumers in the Australian and New Zealand Market. We are looking for a professional and energetic individual to support growth and development of our products, services and client engagement within defined region, within strict regulatory and internal underwriting acceptance guidelines.

This role is directly aligned to our business and administration processes and would be suitable for someone who has experience in financial services.  If you are disciplined and have strong processing / administration skills, we are looking for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support our insurance transactions following customer engagement.
  • Process amendments, endorsements, new business and renewals.
  • Achieving customer KPI's with engagement and service parameters.

Skills and Experience:

Our preferred candidate will be able to show the following attributes and experience:

  • Strong sales and development focus, Tier 2 General Insurance qualification preferred
  • Identify and support development opportunities within company brands
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
  • Proactive and effective communication skills to manage relationships internally and externally
  • Have a good understanding of insurance principles
  • A multi-tasker who thrives in a dynamic fast paced environment
  • Self-starter who can work on multiple projects, deliver results on time and foster positive relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent time management skills and a flexible approach to your work
