Job Title: Space Planner

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate space management initiatives to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective space planning strategies to optimize store layouts and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of space planning projects.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to inform space planning decisions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in space planning, preferably in a retail or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, visual merchandising, and spatial reasoning.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Detailed and thorough understanding of best practice in space management processes.
  • High level experience with Space Planning software at both shelf & floor level (JDA/Blue Yonder preferred).
  • Must be capable of operating independently, managing workload & deadlines with competing priorities.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of product adjacency in a retail setting.
  • Proven success in both Space & Project Management.
  • Highly analytical in your approach, with an inquisitive mind that balances passion for perfection with flexibility to reach the best outcome for both business and customer.
