Job Overview

This role involves delivering data-driven insights that optimize retail space productivity, range and space planning, and store layout strategies.

  • Evaluate space productivity, identify and analyze range performance, and support strategic initiatives through spatial modeling, traffic flow analysis, and performance benchmarking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver space performance insights across physical retail environments.
  • Analyze opportunities for business growth, including space productivity across ranges and layouts to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Support key initiatives and concepts with data-led insights and performance evaluation.
  • Translate analysis into meaningful insights supporting stakeholders to make informed optimization decisions.
  • Maintain, manipulate, update, and extract insights from data sets to ensure they are used effectively.
  • Develop compelling representations of data through dashboarding, reporting, and presentations.
  • Support the Space Planning team by enhancing space data and analysis literacy.
  • Partner with the Data & Analytics team to connect spatial, sales, and customer data sources to support space planning decisions.

The ideal candidate has the ability to work independently, engaging and coordinating stakeholders from other teams, whilst also functioning collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

You'll need proven experience in retail analytics, space productivity, or planning insights. Strong background in spatial modeling, performance reporting, and layout optimization is required.

Technical skills in relevant analysis, measurement, visualization, and reporting tools are necessary. Excellent problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills are essential.

Ability to think laterally and propose innovative solutions is crucial. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across all levels are necessary.

Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight deadlines is vital.
