It represents the first comprehensive platform from a single provider that integrates front, middle, and back office functions. This platform harmonizes data, technology, and services across trusted partners to assist our clients in effectively managing their operations. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Client Implementation Leader, you will oversee the successful delivery of one or more implementation initiatives. You will manage teams and provide updates to executives regarding progress and performance. A successful candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of program management principles, experience in leading organizations through transformational changes, and the ability to foster relationships and engage effectively at executive and C-suite levels. You should have a strategic perspective and the capability to lead highly matrixed teams within State Street. The objective is to ensure every initiative is delivered successfully and adds maximum value to our clients and the organization.

  • Serve as the business owner accountable for the successful execution of the program, acting as the senior liaison between the client and State Street.
  • Collaborate with clients to comprehend their strategic objectives, operational needs, and challenges. Provide expertise and industry insights to guide discussions regarding Alpha solutions.
  • Establish and set goals for programs in alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Review and approve program plans that encompass State Street, client, and critical third-party tasks.
  • Ensure program milestones and dependencies align with the agreed-upon scope and timeline.
  • Develop and oversee budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations for the program.
  • Establish Project Governance both internally and with the client, ensuring all stakeholders are communicated with regularly and appropriately.
  • Drive the client, internal stakeholders, and critical third parties to fulfill their tasks and milestones; enforce proper governance and program reporting.
  • Foster a high-performance culture across program teams, encouraging individuals to deliver client outcomes with a unified State Street approach.
  • Supervise all program and project managers involved, providing feedback and resolving complex issues.
  • Implement standardized change control processes, and maintain risk, issue, and decision logs.
  • Ensure program activities comply with legal guidelines and internal policies.
  • Build and nurture relationships with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Promote continuous improvement to reduce implementation time, enhance quality, improve client experience, and facilitate quicker revenue recognition.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale transformational programs.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and investment management processes, including back office functions. Experience with front-to-back investment servicing and operations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with front and middle office technology is advantageous. Knowledge of systems such as Charles River, Blackrock Aladdin, Thinkfolio, SimCorp Dimension, Markit EDM, Eagle Pace, etc., is beneficial.
  • Experience with Agile software development, highly configurable systems, and leading testing methodologies.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
