About Our Team

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Buyer to join our team and support the Buyer in driving forward the merchandise strategy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing administrative and strategic support to the Buyer and Home Office Manager.
  • Developing product ranges with the Design team to ensure alignment with business strategies.
  • Managing and buying categories under the guidance of the Buyer/HOM.
  • Analyzing sales and market data to make commercial decisions that maximize sales opportunities and minimize future risks.
  • Trading the department to identify opportunities and implement actions through trade analysis to optimize profit.
  • Preparing buying information in support of in-season, pre-season, and post-seasonal buy plans.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders, including Design, Production, Marketing, Retail, and Visual Merchandising.

This exciting opportunity suits someone with previous menswear experience, preferably in an international setting, who is looking to advance their buying career.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3-4 years plus experience as an assistant buyer.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to learn new software.
  • A passion for premium products and a keen eye for quality.
  • Strong assertiveness and ability to express opinions effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
