Purpose:

Deliver compassionate care and support to residents and clients, respecting their cultural and spiritual wellbeing.

Provide personal spiritual support and pastoral care services to residents and clients in line with their preferences and our Mission.

  • Support the spiritual and emotional needs of residents and clients
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, clients, and their families

Requirements:

  • Certification III or Certification IV in Pastoral Care or similar qualifications in theology or spirituality
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Catholic faith principles, particularly as they relate to aged care
  • Commitment to supporting the pastoral/spiritual care needs of the sick and elderly and their family members
