Workplace Resolutions and Compliance Specialist

About the Role

The Workplace Resolutions and Compliance Specialist is responsible for investigating and managing complex workplace matters, ensuring thorough, ethical, confidential, and professional investigation processes aligned to global values.

They will support business stakeholders on employee-related matters, offering leadership with insights into current and emerging employee relations risks and opportunities, and driving innovative solutions.

Ensuring best practice governance and sustainable compliance with employment law, including legislative reforms, policies, and employment contracts, while proactively identifying risks and opportunities that may arise from future changes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely, accurate, and commercial advice and support in respect of all workplace matters.
  • Leverage digital tools and platforms to efficiently manage complex workplace matters, including misconduct, grievances, and policy breaches.
  • Drive innovative solutions that enhance conflict resolution and compliance management.
  • Support business change activities; on matters of compliance and interpretation across the suite of workplace-related platforms.
  • Ensure best practice governance, while staying ahead of industry changes by engaging in continuous learning and upskilling.
  • Promote a learning culture within the team, focusing on future legal and compliance trends.
  • Lead initiatives that advance operational and strategic outcomes consistent with broader business objectives and standards.
  • Partner with People teams and senior leaders to build capability across the business.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in law, human resources, and/or industrial relations.
  • At least 5 years' demonstrated experience working in an industrial/employee relation/human resources position managing, triaging, and end-to-end resolution of complex workplace matters.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex workplace-related matters, including conflict resolution, investigation processes, and workplace compliance.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated capability of building and maintaining strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
