Workplace Resolution Specialist

This critical role is pivotal in resolving complex workplace disputes at a renowned national science agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing intricate workplace investigations into misconduct, bullying, harassment, discrimination, and other sensitive matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake thorough and impartial investigations into workplace complaints, conducting interviews and gathering evidence to inform findings and recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining investigation findings and proposed courses of action for senior management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to leverage subject matter expertise and ensure effective resolution of cases.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and case documentation throughout the lifecycle.
  • Provide expert advice and support to senior management on complex workplace matters, informing strategic decisions and policy development.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Industrial Relations, Employment Law, or a related field.
  • Specialized qualifications and at least five years' experience in conducting workplace or regulatory investigations, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to research, interpret, and apply legislation and policies in complex situations.
  • Strong judgment, independence, and risk-based decision-making in handling high-stakes cases.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
