Job Opportunity

A unique chance exists to take on a challenging role as an Actuarial Analyst, working on a 12-month contract.

This position involves the development and maintenance of life actuarial models that cater to various analytical and reporting needs. You will be responsible for evaluating and reviewing actuarial processes and models, performing statistical analyses, and interpreting results of actuarial models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining life actuarial models with precision.
  • Evaluating and reviewing actuarial processes and models to ensure accuracy.
  • Performing statistical analyses and interpreting complex model results.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Actuarial studies or equivalent.
  • Making progress with professional actuarial exams or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in using advanced actuarial systems such as Prophet Professional and/or Prophet Enterprise.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like R/R Studio or Python for data analysis and manipulation highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with business acumen.
  • Ability to improve processes and optimize business operations effectively.
  • Experience in data analysis, experimentation, and dashboard development.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Actuarial knowledge and experience with relevant certifications.
  • Proficiency in using actuarial systems with technical expertise.
  • Statistical analysis and interpretation skills with data visualization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with creative solutions.
