As a Reinsurance Actuarial Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing and performing intermediate to complex reinsurance transactions and financial reporting. Your expertise will ensure compliance with terms and conditions of the reinsurance agreements and department standards.

About the Role

Our ideal candidate will analyze and perform data analysis for reinsurance transactions and financial reporting. They will also identify and mitigate potential risks by ensuring compliance with departmental and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct advanced data analysis for reinsurance transactions and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental standards
  • Identify, calculate, record, report, and settle premium and loss reinsurance in accordance with contract terms and departmental guidelines
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex issues related to reinsurance activities
Requirements:
  • Hold an actuarial degree and be progressing with professional certifications
  • Strong understanding of insurance market trends and reinsurance processes
  • Advanced programming skills in SQL, R, or Python, preferred
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to communicate complex technical information effectively
