We are seeking 3 experienced and skilled professionals to join our client’s team:
**APS5 Actuary**

The APS5 Actuary (Professional Stream) will have a considerable level of contact with stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex to complex enquiries.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Extracting, cleansing and preparing of data from multiple sources, in particular the data warehouse, and advising on appropriate data checks for reasonableness.

Updating and development of regular performance monitoring.

Supporting the Scheme Actuary Division to fulfill statutory requirements of the NDIS Act 2013 including the provision of data and analysis for reporting to the Board, Minister and for the purpose of public data sharing.

Utilising statistical and mathematical modelling techniques to undertake analytical work on a range of tasks, including actuarial monitoring and analyses, data tabulations, scheme projects and cost benefit analyses.

Undertaking ad hoc modelling requests and report production.

Effectively communicating (verbally and in writing) the progress of work responsibilities and outcomes of work undertaken.

**APS6 Actuary**

The APS6 Actuary will provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems. It may be required to coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development.

The role will have a considerable level of public contact in relation to complex, difficult or sensitive issues. It may liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders in a representational role on behalf of the branch/division.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

**EL1 Actuary**

The EL1 Actuary (Professional Stream) is an important team leadership position within the branch and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities. The position will provide the leadership, control, planning, resource management,

performance management and decision making for team members working within the position’s assigned Work Area.

The role is responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and may be required to represent and negotiate on behalf of the client to advance the client's interests across a range of forums.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Providing statistical and actuarial advice.

Oversight and management of reporting, analysis and data management activities as required, including regular performance monitoring.

Designing actuarial, statistical and mathematical models to undertake analytical work that respond to business issues, including actuarial monitoring and analyses, data tabulations, scheme projects and cost benefit analyses.

Undertaking ad hoc modelling requests and report production.

Effectively communicating (verbally and in writing) and presenting the outcomes of work undertaken, tailored to context.

As one of the Actuarial Leaders, you will be responsible for overseeing the actuarial team and providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and effective financial analysis and risk management.

In this role, you will work closely with senior executives and other department leaders to develop and implement strategies to optimise financial outcomes and ensure regulatory compliance. You will lead and oversee the development and maintenance of actuarial models and projections

to support business decisions and develop new products.

To be considered for this position, you should have a bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field, and have obtained an actuarial credential such as ASA or FSA. An advanced degree such as an MBA or MS in Finance is a plus.
