Actuarial Analyst Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Analyst to join our team on a 12-month contract.

This role involves developing and maintaining life actuarial models, participating in the evaluation and review of actuarial processes & models, performing statistical analyses, and interpreting results of actuarial models. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their analytics needs and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain life actuarial models that meet various analytical and reporting needs.
  • Participate in the evaluation and review of actuarial processes & models, perform statistical analyses, and interpret results of actuarial models.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in Actuarial studies, and be making progress with the Institute of Actuaries of Australia exams (or equivalent). Proficiency in actuarial systems, such as Prophet Professional and/or Prophet Enterprise, is essential. Knowledge of R/R Studio or Python for data querying and manipulation is highly desirable.

Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in Actuarial studies.
  • Making progress with the Institute of Actuaries of Australia exams (or equivalent).
  • Proficient in the use of actuarial systems (Prophet Professional and/or Prophet Enterprise).
  • Knowledge of R/R Studio or Python for data querying and manipulation highly desirable.
