Job Title: Facility and Administration Team Leader

The Facility and Administration Team Leader plays a critical role in the daily operations of the Centre. This position oversees administration, catering, groundskeeping, maintenance, and volunteer coordination, ensuring the Centre functions efficiently and effectively.

This role supports the Centre Manager with operational and financial aspects, including managing property-related needs, coordinating vehicle use, and handling cash and banking duties. Additionally, the Team Leader provides human resources and work health & safety support, upholds values and mission, and participates in recruitment, supervision, development, and performance appraisal of staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operational Administration:
    • Managing property-related needs across all services within the Centre
    • Coordinating and maintaining Centre vehicle use
    • Handling cash and banking duties as required
  • Record Management:
    • Maintaining and archiving manual and digital records in accordance with standards and legal requirements
  • Ensuring accurate, up-to-date, and compliant documentation.

Requirements include:

  • A minimum Certificate IV in Management, Finance, or a related discipline, with experience in rehabilitation or similar social services environments—or a relevant tertiary qualification with applicable experience
  • Qualifications or substantial experience in rehabilitation or other social support contexts
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in working with individuals exhibiting challenging behaviours
