Group Business Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Group Business Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth in the dynamic broadcast and digital media landscape.
About the Role
The Group Business Manager will be responsible for leading a high-performing sales team across Broadcast TV & Digital, formulating and implementing cross-platform strategies and communications to meet multi-platform revenue, yield goals and market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio management across a client portfolio of direct and independent agency clients with retention and growth of key KPIs
- Development and execution of the sales business plan and strategies for your portfolio
- Day to day management of a trading and sales group whilst working closely with specialist units across the business
- Share learnings across national sales teams around trends, innovations, and issues that are impacting agencies and clients.
- Drive a team culture of collaboration across business units to deliver high results and effective performance
- Build strong, senior level business relationships with media agencies and advertisers to deliver best in class service underpinned by depth of knowledge and open relationships.
- Be proactive in sourcing opportunities to address short and long term revenue needs
- Accurate revenue tracking, planning and reporting
- Responsible for setting group budget and ensuring team goals are achieved
About You
You are an experienced Group Business Manager with exceptional skills in building strong client relationships, leading teams effectively, and driving innovative solutions. Your outstanding interpersonal skills, proactive approach, and excellent track record in sales and commercial acumen set you apart as a standout leader in the industry.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of TV, Digital and Print channels
- Solid leadership skills with solid experience in strategic thinking and planning
- Experience and ability in training, coaching and developing team members' capabilities
- Capability in planning, designing, formulating and presenting compelling and relevant communications to stakeholders
- Proven sales skills and ability to build networks, engage clients and build a positive working relationship
- Knowledge of OZTAM, Nielsen, and industry software is highly desirable
