Application Support Expert

About the Role

The Applications Support Analyst will provide technical assistance for a diverse portfolio of business applications, ensuring that stakeholders can maximize their usage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support on queries in various locations.
  • Register, track, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and requests using Service Management systems.
  • Assist in identifying and diagnosing underlying causes to recurring problems.
  • Coordinate requests for application enhancements from stakeholders and escalate them accordingly.
  • Document and update Application Support procedures and instructions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Able to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment, effectively prioritizing multiple issues simultaneously.
  • Experience operating in an IT Service Management system, preferably ServiceNow.
  • Experience in supporting Business Management Solutions (ERP), preferably MS Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Able to effectively learn and support software upgrades, as well as implement new applications.
  • Experience in supporting retail systems, preferably POS systems.
  • Experience in supporting or operating a business reporting solution, preferably SAP.
