Senior Functional Architect Role Overview

This role presents an opportunity to lead functional area engagements and provide expert guidance for Workday implementations.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary functional leader, overseeing multiple concurrent implementations and ensuring a robust and complete solution that meets client needs and allows for future enhancements with minimal rework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership on functional area implementations, guiding teams towards efficient and accurate design and configuration of delivered solutions.
  • Oversee functional area workshops and client confirmation sessions, facilitating collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Offer advisory support to Engagement Managers and leads, fostering open communication and informed decision-making.
  • Ensure cohesive project structures and communications across functional delivery areas, promoting cross-functional collaboration and effective problem-solving.
  • Support sales efforts by assisting Solution Architects with estimating projects, participating in sales oral meetings, and reviewing estimates for change orders in functional areas.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Workday certification.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Certified in at least two subspecialties, with ability to lead in each area.
  • Completed three full lifecycle Workday implementations.
  • Led at least two Workday implementations.
