Job Overview

The Functional Architect is a key leader who provides expert guidance and delivery for functional area engagements. This role serves as the primary functional leader on implementations, working closely with stakeholders to ensure a robust solution that meets clients' needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide functional leadership on multiple concurrent implementations.
  • Oversee architect workshops and client confirmation sessions.
  • Act as a sounding board and provide ad-hoc advice.
  • Oversee all functional areas ensuring efficient design and configuration of the delivered solution.
  • Help teams understand methodology and provide feedback to support continuous enhancement of tools and process.
  • Ensure cohesive structures and project communications are in place for cross-functional delivery.
  • Support sales teams by assisting Solution Architects with estimating projects and participating in Sales Orals meetings.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Current Workday Certification.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Certified in at least two subspecialities including Core Compensation, Benefits, or Recruiting.
  • Completed three full lifecycle Workday Implementations.
  • Led at least two Workday implementations.
