We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday HCM Functional Architect to lead our organization's implementations.

About the Role

The Functional Architect will be responsible for providing expert guidance and delivery on functional area engagements. This individual will serve as the billable functional leader on Workday implementations, working closely with managers, functional area leads, and senior resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide functional leadership on multiple, concurrent Workday implementations across all functional areas (for example, Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Performance, Recruiting, and Learning).
  • Oversee functional area workshops and client sessions, ensuring efficient and accurate design and configuration of the delivered solution.
  • Act as a sounding board and provide ad-hoc advice for team members and serve as an advocate and escalation point, ensuring issues are being addressed.
  • Mentor junior project resources by providing guidance, allowing them to learn new skills and functional areas, lead client sessions, and configure the solution.
  • Ensure cohesive structures and project communications are in place for cross-functional delivery between teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Workday certification and certified in at least two subspecialties in addition to their area.
  • Able to lead in each of these areas.
  • Completed minimum 3-5 full lifecycle Workday implementations (for both large-scale and regional launch implementations).
  • Led at least 2-3 Workday implementations on multiple HCM functional areas.
