Commercial Lead Position

This senior-level role focuses on driving commercial success across the FMCG sector. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your expertise to enhance sales performance, develop strategic plans, and foster collaboration between cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead annual planning, rolling forecasts, and rebate/promotional strategy development in close partnership with the Commercial Director.
  • Deliver timely commercial reporting, including sales performance tracking against targets and providing monthly/quarterly/yearly outlooks.
  • Review and analyze month-end P&Ls with regional/country managers, supporting the development of P&Ls for new product initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to evaluate promotional effectiveness, manage accruals, and provide financial input into campaign planning.
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis, identify root causes of performance gaps, and contribute commentary for consolidated financial presentations.
  • Participate in management meetings, offering financial insights to support strategic decisions across brands, business lines, and geographies.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA/CA qualified.
  • Advanced skills in Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving skill and communication skills.
  • A self-starter who can work independently.
  • Exceptional business partnering skills.
  • Experience in the FMCG industry is highly desirable.
