Job Description

We are seeking a Chief Sustainability Advocate to join our Board of Directors. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping our organization's vision and strategy for the future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that our mission remains clear, relevant, and aligned with our values.
  • Provide guidance on setting the direction of our organization.
  • Monitor and evaluate our programs and activities to ensure they align with our mission and achieve their short-term goals and long-term purpose.
  • Oversee the performance of our CEO and ensure that our executive team is equipped to carry out our mission.
  • Evaluate our financial and other reporting systems to ensure transparency and integrity.
  • Ensure that our risk management systems are robust and effective.
Requirements:
  • Solid understanding of sustainability principles and practices.
  • Experience in finance, digital marketing, or campaigns.
  • Deep knowledge of the cultural, political, economic, and social context of Pasifika people.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
  • A strong commitment to our mission, values, and goal.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sustainability principles and practices, experience in finance, digital marketing, or campaigns, and a strong commitment to our mission, values, and goal. We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 per year, which may be adjusted based on location and qualifications. Please note that this is a voluntary position, but candidates who require financial compensation can discuss remuneration with the Remuneration Committee during the interview process.
