About the Role

The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) is seeking a highly experienced leader to fill the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As the CEO, you will be responsible for the overall strategic, operational, and financial management of the College.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the organisation in fulfilling its mission to promote excellence in dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial training through education, training, and professional development.
  • Oversee risk and governance management, ensuring sustainable practices.
  • Provide strategic advice to the President, Board, and College Regional Committees.
  • Foster a collaborative culture within a structurally complex organisation.
About RACDS

RACDS is a member-based, not-for-profit organisation comprising of over 3,000 dentists and surgeons from Australasia and beyond. Our purpose is to provide a community for exceptional dentists to gain access to ongoing development of their clinical skills, forge a supportive network of peers, mentors and mentees, and to promote the improvement of oral health in the community.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience as a CEO or COO within health, education, not-for-profit, membership-based organisations or peak bodies.
  • Proven ability to advocate diplomatically, build effective partnerships, and foster a collaborative culture.
