Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy and operations of our established private property and development group.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's objectives.
  • Oversee all financial activities, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the business.
  • Manage capital needs and drive financial performance.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop long-term financial strategies that align with the company's objectives.
    • Manage financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance:
    • Prepare and present financial reports to the Directors and stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws.
  • Capital & Risk Management:
    • Manage capital needs and optimize financial resources.
    • Assess and mitigate financial risks.
  • Operational Finance:
    • Oversee financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
    • Manage financial systems and processes.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead and inspire a high-performing finance team.
    • Develop and implement training programs for finance staff.
  • Stakeholder & Investor Relations:
    • Communicate financial information to stakeholders and investors.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Chartered background in finance or accounting.
  • Experience in the property and/or development industry in Australia.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
