About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Technical Writer. This fixed-term position will be responsible for developing technical case studies for teaching and outreach purposes.

  • Design, research and write high-quality case studies that can be used in educational and engagement settings.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the School's curriculum and contribute to the development of new approaches to education and research.
  • Collaborate with researchers and academics to produce engaging content that showcases the School's expertise.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop technical case studies for different mediums, including print and digital formats.
  2. Conduct research and gather information to inform case study content.
  3. Write engaging and informative case studies that meet the needs of students and other stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with researchers and academics to ensure case studies align with the School's goals and objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as communications, journalism or marketing.
  • Proven experience in writing and editing technical content, preferably in an academic or research setting.
  • Strong research skills and ability to gather information from a variety of sources.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with researchers and academics.
