Our client is seeking for multiple Case Management Officers to join the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Case Management Branch.

The APS6 Case Management Officer is accountable under limited direction to undertake complex work that is guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents. The position is a team leadership role within the organisation and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across a range of activities.

The APS6 Case Management Officer provides leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Team Membership within the work area. This includes providing detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems.

The role involves maintaining a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders, undertaking end-to-end case management activities, and attending case conferences, conciliations and hearings conducted by the AAT.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Skills Required:

  • Individual Case Management of matters involving risk and vulnerable participants.

  • Knowledge of the NDIS and supports for people with disability.
  • The ability to engage easily with a diverse range of people.
