Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain our Compliance Management Policy across the organisation.
  • Review operational business processes to identify potential compliance risks or inefficiencies in controls and suggest suitable process improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor, manage and report on compliance risks, including actions taken where material control deficiencies or breakdowns have been identified.
  • Effectively assess, classify and manage reported incidents and breaches.
  • Regularly monitor and report on amendments to regulatory and compliance obligations, and any emerging issues and trends.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels of the business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • A solid understanding of compliance management standards, frameworks, tools and best practices.
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply legislation, regulations and industry codes.
  • Familiarity with Australian Standard for Compliance Management Systems (AS ISO 37301:2021).
  • Knowledge of private health insurance compliance and regulatory requirements, or experience in the financial services sector, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing implementing and continuously improving compliance management frameworks.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a compliance-related role.
