About Our Compliance Expert

We are seeking a skilled professional to drive effective compliance management across our organisation. This role will play a key part in supporting business objectives and ensuring the success of our strategic initiatives.

The successful candidate will assist with implementing compliance policies, reviewing operational processes to identify potential risks, and monitoring and reporting on compliance incidents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing relevant policies and procedures to facilitate effective compliance and obligation management.
  • Reviewing operational business processes to identify potential compliance risks or inefficiencies in controls and suggesting suitable process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintaining, scheduling and delivering compliance training and awareness initiatives.

Skill Requirements

We require an individual with excellent communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and a solid understanding of compliance management standards, frameworks, tools and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have proven ability to interpret and apply legislation, regulations and industry codes, familiarity with Australian Standard for Compliance Management Systems (AS ISO 37301:2021), and knowledge of private health insurance compliance and regulatory requirements.

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a compliance related role is required, along with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
