We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Melbourne-based team as a Senior Contract Administrator.

The Senior Contract Administrator plays a key role in managing and overseeing the administration of contracts across all phases of the project lifecycle. This includes ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, mitigating risk, and supporting commercial outcomes through effective contract management and stakeholder engagement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts for major projects.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, company policies, and client specifications.
  • Monitor contract performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to resolve contractual issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of contract changes, claims, and variations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior contract administrators.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in law, business, construction management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or commercial sectors.
  • A deep understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and project delivery frameworks.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
