This role is essential to supporting the delivery of our projects by ensuring contracts are prepared, executed, and managed effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for:Preparing, reviewing, and administering contracts and subcontracts.Drafting contract terms, conditions, and variations in line with project requirements.Liaising with project managers, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure all contractual obligations are met.Coordinating the tendering and procurement process, including preparing tender documents and evaluating submissions.Negotiating contract terms with external stakeholders to achieve favourable outcomes.Monitoring contract performance, progress, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.Identifying and managing contract risks, disputes, and claims in a timely manner.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all contract documentation and correspondence.Assisting in the preparation of project budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.Supporting project delivery by ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.Preparing and issuing purchase orders, progress claims, and payment schedules.Providing contract-related advice and guidance to management and project teams.Ensuring workplace health, safety, and environmental standards are reflected in contract obligations.Building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
Contributing to continuous improvement in contract administration processes within the business.What We're Looking ForMinimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.Strong understanding of contract law and contract management processes.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.High attention to detail and organisational abilities.Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems will be an advantage.
