Job Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Council's general accounts receivable function, including debt collection and providing regular cash flow projections. This role requires an individual with strong accounting skills to efficiently manage the organization's financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficient delivery of general accounts receivable function.
  • Support Directors, Managers, Coordinators, and project leads related to invoicing, credit notes, receipting of payments, raising journals, AR reporting and other tasks.
  • Assist in monthly review of revenue transactions for GST compliance, assist in month end and year end processes by preparing debtor and revenue-related journals.
About You / Qualifications: A degree in Accounting or Commerce is essential. Demonstrated experience in a high-volume AR environment in a medium to large organisation is required. Knowledge of debt recovery principles and processes is necessary. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Ability to proactively engage and foster business partnering relationships with internal stakeholders is an advantage.
