Perm, Full Time 35 hours, 5 days per week. Salary: $85,411.10 to $93, super

Responsibilities
  • Efficient delivery of Council's general accounts receivable function, including debt collection and providing regular cash flow projections.
  • Provide support to Directors, Managers, Coordinators, and project leads related to invoicing, credit notes, receipting of payments, raising journals, AR reporting and other tasks as reasonably required.
  • Assist in monthly review of revenue transactions for GST compliance, assist in month end and year end processes by preparing debtor and revenue-related journals. Participate in monthly and/or quarterly meetings with key stakeholders to improve business processes.
About You / Qualifications
  • A degree in Accounting or Commerce
  • Demonstrated experience in a high-volume AR environment in a medium to large organisation
  • Knowledge of debt recovery principles and processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to proactively engage and foster business partnering relationships with internal stakeholders
