Job Overview

This role is a key leadership position within the used vehicle sales team.

We seek an experienced leader to motivate and guide our sales team, driving targets and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

This dynamic individual will be responsible for leading and motivating the used vehicle sales team, supporting customers throughout the sales process, ensuring showroom and yard maintenance, and analysing sales performance.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in automotive used vehicle sales leadership, a strong understanding of market values, excellent communication skills, and organisational abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate the used vehicle sales team to meet sales targets and maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Support customers throughout the sales process, including inquiries, test drives, and vehicle presentations.
  • Ensure the showroom and yard are maintained in an attractive and organised manner, with vehicles presented in a clean and well-merchandised state.
  • Research competitor offerings and industry trends to stay informed about pricing strategies.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering vehicles, coordinating trade-ins, and maintaining a diverse selection of used cars.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in automotive used vehicle sales leadership is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of market values and buying procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team members.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for accuracy in sales documentation and inventory management.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
