About the People Experience Team

Within our Practice Management Group, the People Experience (PE) team is composed of specialized areas, including People Advisory & Operations, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Engagement.

The role of People Experience Business Partner is both strategic and operational, overseeing a team that includes at least one indirect report.

Role Overview

In this position, you will provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on a variety of people-related issues, executing regular HR activities within specific practice groups and engaging in strategic HR projects and initiatives.

You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure that policies, practices, and programs are effectively implemented at both the firm and individual practice group levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer support and advice to the business on employee-related issues, including development, performance management, benefits, employee relations, and change management;
  • Provide case management assistance on workplace relations issues, encompassing performance management, grievances, terminations, and discrimination;
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for enhancement and implement changes within your designated practice groups, with potential for broader application;
  • Lead or assist in HR projects and initiatives, such as policy development and process improvement;
  • Cultivate strong, trusting relationships with key stakeholders.

Educational Background

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, along with experience in HR Business Partnering and the execution of strategic initiatives within a professional services environment.

Expertise

Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices and generalist functions, with a solid understanding of employment law and the Fair Work Act.

Collaborative Team Player

A consultative and cooperative approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
