About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Public Sector People. This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our leaders, providing expert HR advice and support across a variety of key areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration and Guidance: Daily collaboration with leaders to provide HR guidance on performance management, secondments, and higher duties arrangements.
  • HR Advice and Support: Offering advice on Enterprise Agreement (EA) matters and HR policies.
  • Employee Relations: Supporting employee relations activities, including investigations and helping leaders navigate organisational changes and major workplace transitions.
  • Strategic Projects: Involvement in high-level People & Culture (P&C) projects, contributing to strategic initiatives.
  • Operational Support: Assisting in the operational day-to-day HR functions, reporting to a Senior Business Partner.
About You
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or similar role.
  • HR Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR policies, performance management, and enterprise agreements.
  • Employee Relations: Experience in employee relations and handling workplace change.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and provide practical HR solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
