Job Title: Experienced Construction Contracts Administrator
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced construction contracts administrator to join our team on a strategic building project.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and manage construction contracts, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
- Review progress claims and issue payment certificates, maintaining accurate records and adherence to contractual agreements.
- Draft and prepare variations, delay notices, and extensions of time, minimizing disputes and ensuring smooth project progression.
- Oversee job costing, cost reporting, and procurement processes, optimizing resource allocation and reducing costs.
- Input and maintain records in the Medius Software System, enhancing data integrity and accessibility.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Maintain document control and compliance with Work Health & Safety (WHS) standards, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying, or 10+ years of industry experience.
- Proven experience in contract administration within the construction industry, demonstrating expertise and knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, laws, and regulations, enabling informed decision-making.
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills, facilitating effective teamwork and conflict resolution.
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software, streamlining workflow and efficiency.
- Construction Induction (White Card), Current Driver's Licence, and National Police Clearance.
