We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join our client's growing business.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting project teams in the management and administration of contracts throughout the project life cycle. This includes preparing and checking subcontract packages, negotiating and reviewing subcontract tenders, producing and maintaining procurement schedules, and processing progress claims and external variations according to contractual obligations and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and check subcontract packages
- Negotiate and review subcontract tenders
- Produce and maintain a procurement schedule that matches the program
- Preparation of accurate payment schedules
- Process progress / delay claims and external variations according to contractual obligations and timelines
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction or similar
- Circa 4 to 12+ years' experience within the construction industry – a tier 1, 2 or 3 background would be ideal
- Construction Safety Induction (White) card
- Strong financial analysis and administrative focus
- Good negotiation skills
