This role is a key part of our human resources strategy, seeking to advance the organization's people agenda and drive business performance through effective HR practices.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team on a 12-month contract, with a strong potential for transitioning into a permanent appointment. The successful candidate will provide hands-on HR expertise and play a pivotal role in advancing our people strategy.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in HR advisory or business partnering roles, with broad generalist expertise. Strong technology skills, particularly in using Employment Hero (or similar HRIS platforms), are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic HR advice and support to senior leaders across the business.
  • Partner with leaders to deliver HR initiatives that promote engagement, wellbeing, compliance, and high performance.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address HR-related issues and opportunities.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in HR advisory or business partnering roles.
  • Strong generalist expertise, with knowledge of employment law and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build trust quickly across the organisation.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Employment Law, or a related field (desirable).
About Us

We offer a supportive and inclusive work environment, with a focus on promoting employee wellbeing and engagement. This role is based in Parkville, with free parking and excellent public transport access. The package includes an FTE salary of $105K + superannuation, with a short-notice start required. Hybrid work arrangements will be available following an initial office-based settling-in period.
