Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated professional to work closely with Indigenous Australians to provide support and guidance through the legal system.

  • This role has three key objectives:
  1. To offer direct assistance to First Nations survivors as they navigate the pathways to redress;
  2. To collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, comprising Social Workers, Lawyers, and Financial Counsellors, to deliver culturally safe services;
  3. To contribute to projects and community education initiatives aimed at driving systemic reforms for the benefit of Indigenous peoples.
About Our Organization

We provide free legal information, advice, representation, and referrals, as well as financial counselling and support to survivors of child sexual abuse through various redress schemes.

A key aspect of this is the employment of Indigenous Engagement Advisors to assist First Nations survivors in receiving legal assistance, working in conjunction with other team members to deliver services in a respectful and culturally safe manner.
