
Aboriginal Health Consultant

As a consultant in our team, you will play a vital role in delivering culturally appropriate programs and services to support the well-being of First Nations clients. With a focus on holistic care, you will empower individuals to overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
">- Utilize your specialist knowledge and skills to assist people in returning to meaningful engagement in occupations.
- Evaluate treatment and/or rehabilitation needs for workers with work-related or non-work-related injuries or illnesses.
- Help clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications, and interests.
- Perform various assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic, or activities of daily living assessments.
- Be responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate, and monitor client progress towards their return to work goal.
- Engage with key stakeholders and build strong relationships to facilitate business objectives.

Requirements
- Demonstrate an understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Have experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, organizations, and communities, as well as well-developed communication skills, empathy, and cultural competence.
- Hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
- Be professionally registered.
- Offer a variety of levels of experience from graduate to senior levels.
- Be open to having a pre-employment national criminal check carried out prior to employment.
