Aboriginal Community Support Liaison

We are seeking Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Engagement Specialists to work with First Nations survivors in a culturally safe and respectful manner.
The role involves providing direct support to survivors as they navigate legal pathways, working with a multi-disciplinary team, and participating in projects and community education activities to achieve systemic reforms.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support to First Nations survivors navigating the legal system.
- Collaborate with Social Workers, Lawyers, and Financial Counsellors to support survivors through the process.
- Participate in initiatives and educational activities to drive systemic change.
- Must be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person who identifies and is recognised within their community.
- Hold a valid driver's licence and demonstrate willingness to travel to remote communities for extended periods.
- Undergo a National Police Records Check and Working with Children Check.
