Job Opportunity: Administration Officer - Casual Pool (South Coast District Hospital)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administration Officer to join our team at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. As an Administration Officer, you will provide a high-quality, confidential, and customer-focused administrative service to clients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide reception services, including answering phone calls and responding to emails
  • Admit and discharge patients, prepare and run client information reports, and perform word processing and data entry tasks
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the team, including medical record administrative services
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced health environment, prioritizing tasks and managing workloads with minimal supervision
Requirements:
  • A solid background working in a reception and medical records department
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting and adapt to change
  • Proven competence in the preparation of medical casenotes and data entry
