About the Role

The Senior Advisor, Educational Quality plays a pivotal role in ensuring and enhancing the overall quality of academic programs and administrative processes for higher education learning and teaching at RMIT University. This position requires a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a deep understanding of university L&T operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems and processes.
  • Partner with stakeholders to support the attainment of a second line of defence of academic quality.
  • Develop and implement quality management activities to promote continuous improvement and academic excellence.
  • Provide high-quality advice and specialist expertise to support the development of exceptional teaching and best practice in learning technologies and environments.
  • Support the Centre for Education Innovation and Quality in its mission to empower students to access education, participate actively in the life of the University, and achieve successful and fulfilling lives beyond graduation.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated proficient use of relevant software applications, tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret policy, procedure, and legislation and to ensure best practice in all academic quality areas.
