This is a Senior Advisor - SMSF Specialist role with KPMG, a leading company in AU, offering an amazing opportunity to join a rapidly growing team. The SMSF Specialist Team supports clients managing their compliance and advisory in relation to their Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs). We are a national team with deep experience in administration, compliance, and strategic legislative advice in relation to all rules and regulations that apply to SMSFs.

**Your Opportunity**

With continued growth, we are now looking to recruit a Senior Advisor/Senior SMSF Administrator to join our SMSF Specialist Team in either Parramatta, Brisbane, or Melbourne:

  • Work closely with the management team to facilitate the preparation of SMSF workpapers, including management of queries from offshore processing teams.
  • Work closely with the management team to meet internal KPIs and lodgement due dates.
  • Liaise with external legal teams to facilitate the setup of new SMSFs, bare trusts, and other legal documents required within the SMSF space.
  • Proactively liaise with external auditors, ATO, and internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional outcomes and quality of work.
  • Further develop your technical expertise working across services including tax and accounting compliance and business/tax advisory work for middle market clients.

**Requirements**

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills, and experience could include:

  • Minimum two years experience in SMSF administration within an accounting firm.
  • Ability to work with timelines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Working towards CA or CPA qualified is desirable but not required.
  • Experience working with an offshore provider is advantageous.
  • Passion/desire to work exclusively within the SMSF team as an SMSF specialist.
