About the Role
The Senior Advisor, Educational Quality will play a crucial role in ensuring and enhancing the overall quality of academic programs and administrative processes for higher education learning and teaching in RMIT University. This position requires highly organised and detail-oriented attention for engaging in quality management activities and a deep understanding of university L&T operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems and processes.
- Develop and maintain quality management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on quality assurance and academic standards.
- Support the attainment of academic standards across RMIT University.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote academic excellence throughout the institution.

The provision of a stimulating and satisfying experience for students is a priority for the University.
The Centre for Education Innovation and Quality (CEIQ) sits within the Education Portfolio under the direction of the Associate Deputy Vice Chancellor Education, Learning, Teaching and Quality. CEIQ supports the attainment of academic standards across RMIT University. CEIQ and its operations drive consistency in design and direction across RMIT University to support academic quality and continuous improvement of all accredited programs and products, enhancing our student and staff experience.

What You'll Need to Succeed
- Ability to partner strongly with stakeholders across the sector to support the attainment of a second line of defence of academic quality.
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated proficient use of relevant software applications, tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret policy, procedure and legislation and to ensure best practice in all academic quality areas
