Job Title: Design Coordinator

This role requires an individual to review shop drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and local standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering or construction engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review shop drawings for compliance with project specifications and local standards
  • Coordinate with other departments to provide timely reviews and comments
  • Assist in forecasting shop drawing reviews, track progress, and respond to RFI/NCRs in accordance with the construction schedule
  • Maintain a proper follow-up of modifications during construction and prepare as-built documentation
  • Provide necessary inputs to track designer's cost, approve monthly invoices, and coordinate with other teams within the design team and other departments
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering
  • Experience in detailed design of building and civil infrastructure projects (plan production and specifications)
  • Sound knowledge on building design and previous experience working in design teams or external consultants required
  • Knowledge and experience with Autodesk software (Civil 3D, Autocad, Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM360), and other applicable common software in the field of transportation engineering
